An extremely impatient Ro was thankfully relieved a couple of weeks ago when I received some post from the MakieLab team. Some lovely prizes and a rather sweet message were very much appreciated by all.
Rosa-Bella - "I love my prizes."

Rosa-Bella - "Well I did the hard work..."
Xue-Wei - "You stayed still for one minute for a reference photo. Lindsay did all the artwork!"
Rosa-Bella - "Looking this good is hard work."
We all know you like to look your best Ro *sigh*
I think I'll just let her have the glory. No use arguing with her.
Ok so I received a nice little knitted "Bee" dress, a "Math is Fun" top, spooky skull PJ bottoms and some 3D printed specs, sandals and bunny slippers :D
The boys have already taken a shine to the PJ bottoms and bunny slippers as you can see...

Hmm... I think you should re-think this sweetie.
Recently I've been getting used to PhotoShop CC. It's essentially CS6, only with a limited time licence. It means I have more tools to play with, so hopefully my artwork will only get better. That may be good news for future portraits, but for now it's basic straight on images as before until I get used to the new system.
I'm a little eager to get to grips with my new software, however I know it'll take a while to get used to it. My patience can be lacking at times, however I'll have to learn to take my time if I want to get it right ;)
Here is another portrait I worked on before the software update. It isn't my favourite and it seems to be missing something. I think I may redo it in future.
I think I'll be using references sketches and photos for future ideas...
Due to busy schedules and getting used to my new routine, I've sadly been unable to complete many other images. I'll upload some more in the coming weeks, so bare with me :)
