Long Awaited Arrival...

After a missed delivery on Thursday and a lot nervous staring at the DHL tracking website, I finally received a text message on Friday to say my packages had arrived! 

Yay!!

Better late than never!

Opening the post has never been so satisfying :)

What have we here?

From within these two parcels, that had started off looking a little worse for wear after their long journey up from London, came two very sturdy tubes and little bag of goodies... 

A little extra happiness :)

Now for the reveal... 

Unfortunately Rosa-Bella's wig appears to have slipped off in transit (oh no!) Don't worry Ro I can fix that.

Hair raising!

Makies tend to come naked, but always securely packed. Rosa-Bella is no exception. That pretty yellow ribbon may come in handy some time.

Rosa-Bella - "Not without asking me first!" 

Ok with Rosa-Bella's permission I may use the ribbon in future.

"I'm ready for my close up"

After a little deliberation (and for the sake of getting some nice photos) I placed Rosa-Bella's wig on her head. It really didn't want to stay put...

"I guess it'll do"

I love the poster with all of her care instructions. So simple and easy to follow :)

"Can't we get on with this?"

Rosa-Bella was becoming a little restless at this point. 

Rosa-Bella - "I don't see why I should still be naked. It's just not ladylike."

Fair point. So the first package was opened and out came her Gothy dress, which with her wig out of the way, was a little easier to get on lol.

Much more dignified

"How do I look?"

 The problems arose with setting the wig in place again. It just wouldn't stay put!

"What the?"

"This is just ridiculous!"

I found myself rummaging through my little bag of extras. I'm glad I'd had the foresight and bought a wig cap to keep Rosa-Bella's hair in place. Anyone buying a Makie and choosing the option not to permanently glue the wig in place as I did, I highly recommend purchasing one of these.

I can't get her fringe to sit properly without hiding her eyes most of the time, it's a little longer than required but I'm reluctant to trim it. Maybe a little hair clip might do the trick.

Rosa-Bella - "You can't get your own hair to sit right. Why should it be any different with mine?"

Hmm... She's a little more opinionated than she was when she was just digital. 

My, my... Just who was she hanging out with back at the lab?

"Well I suppose this will do."

Rosa-Bella was more than a little disappointed in me it seems, for being so badly prepared for her arrival.

Rosa-Bella - "At least there was a hot cup of tea waiting..."

Well that's something I guess.

One lump or two?

She was a little concerned by the second place setting. And just why was there another tube sat beside hers?

"Who's this? I didn't see any of the others in the printer"

I had originally thought to buy Rosa-Bella, but at the last minute I thought I'd buy her a friend. 

Just who is Rosa-Bella's new roomy?
