Keeping with theme of escaping the norms of reality and relaxing without thinking of deadlines and coursework, I finally got around to updating a few things...
Finally gotten a chance to take some better images of Ro in her TARDIS costume a couple of weeks ago. Sorry only had the time to edit them after LB arrived. You'll notice I have used a background that matches that in the original portrait and video.
I've actually had this background for a while before creating the portrait, but never had the chance to use it until now. I think she does it justice but you decide :)

It was a little difficult to set up due to the lack of space, but a little manoeuvring on the bedside table and shelves, a lot of kneeling on my bed and the torch function set permanantly on for about an hour on my iPhone, I was able to set up a nice scene and light it without any expensive photography equipment.

I have recently set myself up on Shapeways, a 3D printing website where you can upload, sell and/or purchase designs that will be printed by them in a range of materials such as Nylon (much like the Makies), metal and ceramics. I haven't yet uploaded anything myself (not exactly good at the designing in 3D side unfortunately), however I have purchased something to try it out.

I have to say I'm impressed with how little Newton turned out. I opted for the uncoloured version as was a little cheaper, but also because I think he looks kinda cool in white. He looks like he was based on Tangled's Pascal and he is just adorable. Being only about seven centimetres tall, he is perfectly sized to be a pet for the Makies. Ro seems to have already adopted him as her own.

Ah yes the dino. I had a little Fimo left from the bunnies ears and decided to have some fun and play with making something else.
