Birthdays, Stop Motion and Going Green...

Well I had a seemingly long weekend a couple of weeks ago.

Besides a bit of spring cleaning, I also found myself dog sitting for my brother. 

Wow, that was exhausting! Great Dane puppies never calm down... At least not Nala... She enjoyed pestering little Stu (my miniature Dachshund) and following her endlessly. A huge dog lumbering behind something a tenth it's size is a funny sight. So that Saturday night was... Fun?

Luckily I was able to get things done before the interloper arrived, but that didn't stop her making  a mess of her own xD

I had a little fun earlier in the day after my photography tripod arrived. I decided I'd give a little stop motion capture a try for University with Vikare and LB as my subjects.

It was enjoyable at first, but I was a little dizzy by the end going back and forth haha. 

Considering it took me an hour and a half to do and consisted of 90 images, I was a little shocked that it only ended in an 18 second video. Check it out on YouTube now :)


Sunday, that weekend brought a touch of boredom and again the Makies came to my rescue along with a set of green wigs...

I had initially purchased a 'Vocaloid' green wig from eBay, complete with detachable ponytails for use on a music video shoot for University. Unfortunately the video never took place and so I now had a wig with no use... Or so I thought...

Ro and LB gave me a little hand and the 'Going Green' photo shoot began xD

Following the green hair, LB and I had a little fun with her original look. 

After a long wait LB finally received her wig in the post, yay! Thank you Jo and Georgie :)

This week has not been quite as interesting...

Despite it being my birthday on Wednesday, it seemed like any other day. Believe it or not I didn't even get a piece of my own birthday cake until a few days later... Sadly I still have a little issue with expressing myself verbally so I didn't feel up to upsetting anyone by voicing my thoughts (I was a little depressed already that day, so I knew I'd have said something I'd have regretted later anyway)

My brother, who shares the same birthday (nope we're not twins lol), seemed to have a more festive day and he spent most of it in his bathroom throwing up! I say it was more festive as his fiance decided to decorate the bathroom for him with banners and balloons... 

Yeah they're both a little nuts xD

Thursday was another birthday. My nephew turned six :)

Chocolate cake and family why not... 

Nope... Spent most of the time on YouTube looking up Makie videos for my niece to watch instead, oh well.

So, in the end I'm another year older... A little wiser... And very cake deprived (which will continue for a few months as I've started a new diet  -_-  darn)

Next update I should have some new fashion images for Ro and LB :)
