All Bliss'd Out...

A little while ago, long before Húlí Shuāng Wěi, Oliver and Bella-Rosa joined the family, I actually ordered a couple of other very special Makies.

One of these little lovelies in particular was very special... I ordered an adorable little MiniMe version of my three year old niece Amelia (she'll be four by the time she gets her though lol) who we call Millie Moo. She adores my Makies and has wanted one of her own ever since seeing them and pictures of other Makies online. Especially pictures of one called Mushroom owned by the awesome Sioux.

Sioux was gracious enough to agree to do the face ups for these lovely two. As I had with LB, I created reference images for her to work on. What do you think of Bliss and Millie Moo? 

Bliss the Surfer Girl

Bliss will eventually have a shell necklace and some vintage clothes, I've already started on her surfboard too. She also has a cute little tribal wave tattoo just under her left ear. I totally love it. It was based on a tattoo I found online, only a little less elaborate (Poor Sioux would have really struggled to have done that one xD)

Amelia's Makie, Millie Moo's face is very subtle as of course she doesn't have make up, but she is still very cute. The reference hair is curly as Amelia has the cutest little ringlets, however Millie Moo will have the short Bobbie wig which is actually straight.

The face up's were delayed as I was rather late in sending these references, but the wait for the girls was well worth it. They turned out fabulous!

So without further ado, the arrival...

LB gave me a hand with this one.

LB - "How could I not greet my own niece?"

I see your point... 

Here we go again...

When I ordered Bliss and Millie Moo, the team was trialing a new lower price. I was very lucky to catch it while I did as they eventually returned to its original prices. I also ordered during a promotion period where I received a free 'look' with each of my Makies. I also ordered a tote and of course their certificates. A big saving all round, I was extremely happy that week :D

First up, Millie Moo...

"How's the view up there?"

"Well aren't you a cutie!"

Oh... Even your ribbon is pink :)

Amelia absolutely loves Mushroom's dreadlocks, so of course Millie Moo does too. 

Sioux, being fabulous as ever, created a long blond set for Millie Moo so she could be like her idol :)

Totally beyond my expectations, Amelia is going to love her little friend. There will be a long wait however as she is a Christmas present, but of course I couldn't help but take some photos before packing her away. I was so very, very tempted to keep the wig for myself (OMG it's awesome!), but I can't be such a mean aunt ;)

LB - "And so you shouldn't be!"

Millie Moo came with the 'Prepster Look' set. It contains a little bag, glasses, bangles, yellow sandals and a little flower headband. Very girly... Perfect for Amelia :)

"See you again soon!"

As she is meant as a gift, I decided it best not to remove Millie Moo any further than I had. Even though I was dying to... *Sigh* 

So LB said goodbye to Millie Moo... for now :)

After packing Millie Moo back in her tube, it was time to greet Bliss...

Hopper - "About time! I've been waiting to see how she turned out for ages!"

Let's get started...

LB wasn't getting any answer from her calls so she decided to take things into her own hands...

"Knock Knock!"

"You awake in there?"

*Yawn* "What's up?"

Bliss seemed to LB to be a little too laid back having fallen asleep so deeply in her tube. The bed head look really suits her to be honest. 

Rosa-Bella - "I doubt she owns a hair brush!"

"Wakey, wakey!"

Bliss's 'Look' was the 'Yeah Wheelie' set. An awesome little collection containing a black hat, backpack, heelie trainers and star earrings. A definite look that suits Bliss's style, it's perfect for her.

Sioux also included some fibres along with instructions to create some lashes for Bliss like Millie Moo's. I think it'll be fun to try out when I have the chance :)

Unfortunately the lighting I used for taking the pictures doesn't give Bliss the justice she deserves as her face up is gorgeous. You can't make out the freckles or painted blond lashes very well in these images, but they are cute and with her skin tone, make her look very sun-kissed :D

"Suits us right?"

Bliss looks adorable in her little beanie and I think LB has claimed the earrings xD

LB - "Next time I'll wear them with a different hair do..."

Umm... Yeah... I was going to suggest that.

"Yo! My ID..."

From these few images, I've seen a lot of different expressions from Bliss and I love it. She is gonna be a fun to photograph.

I realise now, that I forgot to take a picture of her tattoo... Oopsie! 

I'll have to remember to take one and include it with the next update ;)
