Shoes!

Alright it's been a little while since my last update... So I think it's about time xD

I'm currently on holiday from University... Yay!

However before I broke up for Easter, I spent six hours working on another stop motion project. LB and Vik are involved as in my practise and this time I will be marked for the effort. It was a team effort, but regardless still took a long time for all the positions. I don't mind telling you, my back really hurt afterwards.

LB - "She wasn't the one under those hot lights for six hours!"

Vikare - "Technically she was. She had to move us after all."

LB - "Well... It was still uncomfortable."

Rosa-Bella -"Why are you complaining? I wasn't even picked this time. Dumb white skin..."

Sorry Ro, the green screen would reflect onto you too much...

Rosa-Bella - "Yeah, yeah..."

Anyway, there's still a lot of work to do, but I'll upload on YouTube once I'm done :)

A few weeks back, I received some shoes for the Makies I purchased from Hotdotz-Blythe.

I love the Mary Janes, they're so cute. I just had to get them in both black and white.

Although they were a little hard to get on they fit perfectly. The decoration is sewn in a way that closes off the opening a little so I had to cut the thread at these places to reopen the hole, but it doesn't actually effect the decoration in any way. I put a dab of glue on each part just in case so it shouldn't come apart any time soon ;)

Each pair comes with a lovely pair of knee high socks, but I think they look fine without.

The converse boots are adorable too. The laces are ribbons. They are long enough for bows, however I like to tuck them in as in these images. I think LB looks quite good in them :)

Again they come with a lovely set of socks which are a soft material and surprisingly doesn't stick to the relatively rough Makie 'skin'.

I'm having a little problem with locating some nice shoes that'll fit the boys though. I'll just have to keep looking I guess.

I have a little time now between working on University projects that I'm finally going to use to do Xue Wei's face up. I've done some practise with Makie bits and I think I feel confident enough to do it now. Better late than never I guess.

Hopefully, I'll have some more updates on his progress net time :)
