And so I'm back xD
Yeah it took me a while to have the time to update the blog, but here I am finally...
I have been waiting to hear back from my classmates as to whether I could upload the final video we made for our mock advert in our final project and have finally got the go ahead to upload to YouTube. It over three hours to upload, not fun -_-
So if you're interested, head over now and check out Toy Party :D
The stop motion capture was done by me. I'm a little disappointed with the lining up with the bottles I did, but I'm going to practise over the next few weeks and do a version of my own where I can work on it without a looming deadline. Maybe I'll be able to fix that part... I'll upload if I ever finish it lol xD

Ok updates...
The wedding at Loch Ness was gorgeous! There was only immediate family so it was a tiny wedding party, but it made it really special to have the location to ourselves. We stayed at the Loch Ness Lodge, which definitely lived up to its five star reputation. I could have stayed there longer...

The owner of the Lodge, Scott, was so attentive and took such good care of everything. He made it a very special stay. I highly recommend a visit, it's simply breathtaking.
Apart from the bride being a little camera shy (still not allowed to show anyone the pictures just yet as the bride and groom haven't even seen them yet lol) and the rain (wow that rain!), it was a wonderful day. So proud of my baby bro. He looked so nervous, but the smiles they both had after they said their vows says everything.

Liu Xue Wei took his last photos before his face up began last week. I purchased a little something for him to wear and so with the sun being out last week, I decided to have him pose. It's such a sweet little hoodie with cute little ears and a pair of leggings to go with.
He's currently sitting headless in my conservatory, awaiting completion of his face up. It's been too long that I've made him wait so whilst I'm on holiday from Uni I thought it best to use the time productively.
Watch this space ;)

Alright... For the moment you have all been waiting for (I hope)...
Competition time!
This will be the first of two competitions I'll run. The deadline is the 5th of July, but I'll extend if necessary ;)
The winner will have their choice of charm and leather. I will also give the winner another little surprise as well ;)
Ok, the rules are simple... Vikare needs a surname. We need you lovely guys and girls to come up with the best one.
- It must sound pleasing to the ear. And match well with Vikare obviously ;)
- It can be in any language.
- You must be able explain it's meaning or where the name derived from (yup that's essential)
- You can enter as many times as you like, but there can be only one winner after all :)
The Makies - "Good Luck everybody!"

Botnica or Nattiq (Vikare is Swedish for ringed seal - Botnica is a sub species of Ringed Seal that lives by Sweden, and Nattiq is one of the Inuit words for it)
ReplyDeleteSundvik - because Ikea ;-) (Sundvik is a child's bed, Vikare is a guard rail that fits on it)
(ShortncuddlyAm from Makie forums - and I'm only entering for fun :P )
Awesome Am :)
DeleteThe first three names for consideration.
